“THINKABOUTIT” THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

          Can you believe Midwestern dryland wheat yields over 50 bushels an acre and, in some places, the price hitting double-digit dollars per bushel?  Decades ago, when the yields were consistently under twenty bushels per acre and $3 wheat was a more typical standard, we couldn’t have imagined it; but, now we can believe the unimaginable because we’ve seen it.

          How wonderful is Jesus?  For those of us who have grown up centuries removed from Jesus’ walk on earth, it is tough to believe just how incredible He really is.  Could anyone have been this insightful?  Could anyone have lived a perfect life?  When Jesus walked the face of the earth, God, realized there would be generations who would never be able to see Jesus, so He commissioned writers to record Jesus’ life with the notation, “… these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name”. (John 20:31)

          Let’s study the life of Jesus; but, as importantly, let’s believe what we learn; because it may sound incredible; but, it is true.
