“THINKABOUTIT” THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Wednesday; March 12, 2008
There is an old saying that notes, “Do what you have always
done and you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” While this
maxim is true in many area’s one of it’s surest is in the
way we live our lives. The choices we make often produce a
certain result. If we live life this way, we can be pretty
sure that will happen.
While this principle is true in living our own lives, it is
equally as true in the lives of others. In other words, we
don’t have to learn the all lessons on our own, we can get
an education from the choices others make. This concept
brings us back to the a question of role models. After whom
do we really want to pattern our lives? Before we walk in
someone else’s footsteps we probably out to step back, and
from a distance, see where they end up.
What do we want to get out of life? Let’s take a look at
the people who have gotten it and start following their
path.
Think about it! For the Madison Avenue Church of Christ;
this is Charlie Wharton.
