“THINKABOUTIT” THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
If you look around you today, you will probably see a lot of
green. For those of us who live in the great North Central
states, the green will be worn in honor of St. Patrick’s
day; but, if you were to venture out into some of the warmer
climates, the green just might be on the trees and in the
lawns. For a part of the country, Spring has sprung and it
looks green.
One of the great things about this time of year is the
appearance of a new beginning. With warmer temperatures and
non-frozen moisture, the earth just seems to come to life.
Spring is a time when life can begin in another way, deep
within us. The cold dreary weather may have had an impact
on our spirits; why not use this transitional season to
boost our morale. Have you been feeling yucky? If so, then
let’s let the green around us today (whether in nature or on
neckties) spark us to be reborn and rejuvenated.
Think about it! For the Madison Avenue Church of Christ;
this is Charlie Wharton.
