“THINKABOUTIT” THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
In our house, as in many others around us, this May brings a
lot of things with it; not the least of which is the
“graduation season”. From mid-May through early June many
young men and women will walk out of childhood, across a
stage and into maturity. Graduation is an interesting time
of life, one that might best be described as the end of the
old and the beginning of the new.
Graduates are not the only ones who face this transition in
life. Many of us have issues that need to be changed; but,
we keep waiting for the “right time” to make the
adjustment. The good news is that we don’t have to wait
until a certain date or a special occasion to change. If we
need to do it, we can do it.
If you are graduating this year, congratulations and may the
Lord bless your lives even greater from here on out. If you
aren’t graduating; but, still looking to make a change, get
started and before long, the old will be gone and the new
become the standard.
Think about it! For the Madison Avenue Church of
Christ; this is Charlie Wharton.
