“THINKABOUTIT” THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

Whether you are visiting Odakota Ridge or Harney Peak, the
Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming have some incredible
views; yet, if you are standing at the foot of the hills you
wonder how could anyone get up there? The source of these
views isn’t found in a highway, you get to the top by
following a series of “roads less traveled” traversed only
by those who really want to see the sights.
There are a lot of people today, who look at others who have
achieved success in life and wonder how they got there.
They see a few people who have it all – joy, contentment,
spirituality and significance – and wonder what superhighway
they can take to get to that same place. The answer;
though, isn’t found in an easy route, true accomplishment in
life is found by following the straight and narrow paths
that only a few are dedicated to pursue.
Are we looking for the best life can offer? If so, we need
to get off the well-worn paths that lead to mediocrity and
pursue those that lead us to where we really want to go.
Think about it! For the Madison Avenue Church of Christ;
this is Charlie Wharton.
