“THINKABOUTIT” THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

If
we were to be asked what’s important to us, how would we
make the decision as to how we would answer the question?
I’m sure that most of us would give a philosophical answer –
and it would probably sound good. Yet, if we were honest
and practical, our answer would probably come from a couple
much more mundane locations: our bank accounts and our
calendars. If we really wanted to know what was important
to us, we would take the time to look and see where we
invest ourselves and our finances.
In life, there are several candidates vying for our
support. These are not political candidates they are much
more pragmatic. Day in and day out, we are being courted by
the things of this life, and since we vote with our time and
money, what’s winning?
Let’s take a look at what’s important in our lives. Is it
what it should be? If not, let’s impeach it and replace it
with something more worthy of our calling.
Think about it! For the Madison Avenue Church of Christ;
this is Charlie Wharton.
