“THINKABOUTIT” THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

There are many blessings in Christianity; but, one of the
most elementary is the ability to choose. At the heart of
Christianity is the message that all people have the chance
to follow it’s principles and precepts. We don’t worship a
God who forces His ways on us, we get to choose to follow
Him. We don’t have to be a certain ethnicity or have a
particular nationality, all citizens of all nations can
choose to be a part of this special church. We don’t have
to have enough money to buy our way into God’s good graces,
His mercy is available to everyone who chooses to be
obedient to Him.
Choice is a wonderful blessing; but, it can also be a tough
taskmaster. You see, with the freedom of choice comes the
need to choose. We have to make a conscious decision to
become Christians or it will never happen.
This weekend, as we consider what we will choose to do;
let’s remember Jesus’ ultimatum, “He who is not with Me is
against Me; and he who does not gather with Me, scatters.”
(Luke 11:23)
